Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Update and Policy

COVID-19 Update 4-24-20

We are resuming installation of our current projects starting April 29th, 2020 under Governor Jay Inslee's allowance of low-risk construction to resume.

By starting April 29th, this allows for materials we ordered for safety to arrive and allow us to follow the Phase 1 Construction Restart COVID-19 Job Site Requirements put forth by the Governor. You may read a copy of the requirements here.

For scheduling of install, we are calling our customers in order of when they bought.

Thank you so much for your patience, understanding, and most importantly, keeping Washington working.

Sincerely,

Residential Home Solutions

COVID-19 Update 4-02-20

The office is closed until May 4th in respect to the Stay Home Stay Healthy Order by Gov. Jay Inslee.

While we are physically closed, we can still help you! We are still helping customers while doing our part of social distancing by working remotely, providing virtual appointments for estimates, and doing only emergency services for our previous customers.

For our customers with in progress projects, we are in contact with you via email with updates on your project/order. If you have any questions, please email us at orders@vpihs.com or call us at (509) 892-6460. As we are working remotely, all calls are being forwarded. If we miss your call, please leave a message and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Thank you so much for your understanding and for keeping Washington working.

COVID-19 Update 3-26-20

We take the health and well-being of our community, customers, and team very seriously. In accordance with the Stay Home, Stay Healthy Order, the office is closed until April 8th, 2020.

We will be in contact with our current customers via phone to keep them updated.

Though the office is closed, we're still able to offer free estimates through virtual appointments. Customers are able to take photos of their home and send them to us using an app that creates a 3D model. Using this model, we're able to get the measurements needed for an estimate.

Once the model is created, we'll schedule a virtual appointment, which is done through Google Meet, a video conferencing app. We’ll be able to give and show you the same detailed information as if we were face-to-face. They’ll also go over any available energy rebates and discounts like our “Keep Washington Working” promotion.

We are all in this together. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will follow guidance from public health officials and government agencies, so we can continue to support our customers and communities safely.

Stay Healthy and Safe,

Residential Home Solutions

COVID-19 Update 3-16-20

At Residential Home Solutions (“RHS”), the safety and well-being of our customers and employees is always our top priority. We understand that the rapidly evolving situation with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) can be unnerving with new information coming to light daily. We are closely monitoring these real-time developments and are looking to experts such as the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) for guidance.

As a result, we have taken several actions to ensure we're keeping your well-being front and center. Luckily, as a small company, we can closely monitor our team. If our team members are not feeling well, we're requiring them to stay home and not allowing them on the job site or to meet with homeowners. Our goal is to keep the customers and our team as safe as possible and away from any potential exposure.

We have introduced virtual appointments as an option for our customers. We come out with gloves and masks to measure your project from the outside with no contact with you, we will not knock on your door. If we have any questions, since communication is key and you need to keep your project moving forward, we will call/text you.

After measurements have been taken, the office will call to schedule your virtual appt, which is done through video chat to deliver the same detailed information regarding your project so you can continue to make informed decisions and understand the value of the RHS Experience. We’ll go over our “Keep Washington Working” discount and any available payment and rebate options.

We are mandating our Team Members to avoid any personal contact such as the normal custom to shake hands when greeting a customer to again limit any potential exposure. Most of our staff will be working remotely from home. Any office personnel will be working in personal office space more than 10 feet away from one another and access to the office has been minimized. All company meetings will be held by conference call to keep employees safe.

Most of the work that we do does not require face to face interaction, so we are still able to perform most, if not all, installs and services. We offer paperless signing of paperwork through DocuSign. Your Project Manager is only a phone call or text away to address any questions or concerns.

We can collect payments over the phone with a credit card and you can still mail a check in to the office or leave it in a place for our team members to pick up. We offer payment options for approved customers that may help them benefit from the current economic uncertainty so please ask about this if you are interested. We also offer deferred payment options.

Our team and our customers have grown Residential Home Solutions to one of the leading home improvement companies in the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene area and we are confident that we will continue to offer the experience you have come to expect from us all while continuing to make the safety and well-being of everyone as our number one priority.
